Your Full Circle Care Guide
Everything you need to know to prepare for your treatment and care for your skin after—so you can achieve the best possible results.
Pre-Treatment Checklist
To ensure the safest treatment and best possible results, please follow the guidelines below prior to your appointment:
Avoid Sun Exposure
Keep the area out of direct sun and avoid tanning (including fake tan) for at least 4 weeks prior. Tanned or sunburnt skin increases sensitivity and the risk of complications.
Keep Skin Hydrated
Maintain well-hydrated, moisturised skin in the weeks leading up to your session to support optimal healing and reduce post-treatment irritation.
Avoid Blood Thinners
Where possible, avoid blood-thinning medications (such as aspirin or ibuprofen) for 5–7 days prior, as they may increase the risk of bruising. (Please consult your GP if prescribed.)
Shave the Area
If applicable, shave the treatment area the day before your appointment to allow clear and effective laser targeting.
Arrive with Clean Skin
Ensure the area is clean and free from lotions, oils, makeup, or fake tan on the day. Avoid harsh exfoliation immediately before your session.
Dress Comfortably
Wear loose, comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the area and reduces friction post-treatment.
Medical Disclosure
Please inform us of any medical conditions, medications, or skin sensitivities prior to your appointment to ensure your treatment is tailored safely.
Be Well Rested & Hydrated
Arrive well-rested and hydrated—this supports your skin’s response and overall recovery.
Post-Treatment Care
Your aftercare is essential to achieving safe, effective results. Please follow the guidance below after your session:
Keep the Area Clean & Dry
Avoid excess moisture for the first 24 hours. Showering is permitted, but avoid soaking the area. Gently cleanse with mild soap and water, and pat dry—do not rub or irritate the skin.
Support Healing
Apply the recommended healing ointment as advised. Do not pick, scratch, or disrupt any scabbing or blistering, as this can increase the risk of scarring.
Manage Blistering (If It Occurs)
Blistering can be a normal response. If needed, you may cover the area with a sterile, non-stick dressing. Do not burst blisters—allow them to heal naturally.
Avoid Heat & Friction
For 24–48 hours, avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, hot baths, or anything that may cause excessive heat, sweating, or friction to the area.
Protect from Sun Exposure
Keep the area out of direct sunlight. Once healed, apply a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ daily to protect the skin and support optimal fading.
Stay Hydrated
Healthy, hydrated skin supports your body’s natural removal process. Drink plenty of water and maintain a balanced diet.
Allow Time Between Sessions
Treatments are typically spaced 6–8 weeks apart to allow your skin to heal and your body to break down the ink effectively.
Attend Follow-Up Appointments
Regular sessions and reviews allow us to track your progress and tailor your treatment plan for the best outcome.
